Unemployment Day 24
Today is slightly better than yesterday, not as desperate feeling, although, still quite depressed. I slept through the alarm clock again this morning. That's not too surprising considering I'm still having sleeping issues. My legs were hella restless last night, couldn't keep still. Cabin fever is still crawling on my skin but with little ambition to do anything, I'm not combating it at all.
I detest television right now. I'm sick of it. After sitting in silence for the first three hours of my day, I did turn on the History Channel for background noise. To my surprise I kind of got into the show that was on, Ice Road Truckers. Those fuckers are crazy. I want to make that kind of money. It's like Survivor Island in the frigged cold risking your life on a frozen lake. I watched the damn show for four hours. O_o

I'm looking forward to the weekend. Stephen will be home and Shaun and Karen are coming into town. I know I'll be able to get out of the house tomorrow when my in-laws take us all out for dinner. Hopefully they'll pay for a couple drinks too.
Not that my entire day has been a waste, it's only 6 pm and Stephen should be home soon. I took a shower YAY actually shaved my legs and tended to my eyebrows. #success I consider that doing something right now. Did some housework too, at least the laundry is always kept up right now. There are few things as annoying to me as the effing laundry basket overflowing.
Things I considered doing today:
* I have these wooden nesting dolls my friend Rose gave to me a couple years ago. I've never painted them but if I can find my paints, that may be a good project to pass the time.
* Cleaning my office. I really need to do that. If I could wade through the piles of shit and get to my desk at least I'd have a change of scenery from the living room.
* Design new icons for buttons on my website. I've been drawing in my head some kawaii little icons but I need to be able to get to my PC tablet in that damn office.
* Read. I have so many books I want to read but my glasses are so old I can't see the effing words. Dumb.
Exciting eh? It's funny how so many of my online peeps think I'm so energetic and my life is so cool. Bawhahaha! Yeah, my life is so rad.

The state of things.
To be honest I effing hate the internet right now. I'm ready to smash my iPhone, pack up my laptop and unplug my PC. Since losing my job in May, I've been so depressed the only thing I can seem to muster up the energy to do is fuck around online once I'm done applying for jobs everyday.
There's actually a whole lot I'd like to say here but I can't seem to spit it out, in any recognizable manner at least. It comes down to:
1 - People who act like friends only when it's convenient for them.
2 - Cabin fucking fever.
3 - My pension is melting away into credit card bills and utilities.
4 - I want a fucking cheeseburger.
5 - Week three of unemployment after 4 job interviews and 23 applications.
6 - Working my ass off with my photography and the sites to get very little in return.
7 - I'm so depressed I don't even want to photog.
8 - I haven't spoken a word out loud yet today because there's nobody around to hear it.
9 - I need new glasses so bad I have a constant headache.
10 - I just don't want to even wake up in the morning anymore.
#Fail fail fail fail fail fail.

Katie Kapow Dot Com
Been working hard on the site today. I managed to maintain my POTD on Twitter over the last 4 weeks of moving chaos but I haven't done the re-caps on my site so I'm trying to pull that together today as well as get the tech blog and gallery up to re-launch tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the deadline I had set for myself so I hope to pull it off.

Kapow where have you been all my life?
Hi friends, I'm just dropping a line to let you know yes, yes everything is okay! Thank you for all of your concerns about my lack of photos recently. Rest assured, I'm only taking a break while The Pointgiver and I move into our new home in our new city. Charter just came by and hooked up the cable, so as soon as we get our office unpacked I'll be back on the net posting photos like KAPOW KAPOW!
I'm limited right now to the sites I can access at work, like here on Blogger. =D
I'm hoping to start my POTD, Photo of the Day posts on Flickr and Katie Kapow Dot Com again this Sunday.
